Season two of Smallville first premiered on the WB on September 24, 2002 and was released to DVD less than two years later on May 18, 2004. The television show follows the life of the young Clark Kent (Tom Welling) before he became Superman. In Season 2 Clark is still in High School and still hanging out with the same friends from Season 1. His friendship with Lex Luther (Michael Rosenbaum)is still developing. And his friendship with Pete (Sam Jones III) is changing. Chloe (Allison Mack) is still one of his best friends and Clark is still interested in Lana (Kristin Kreuk).
